Our client, an international top rated accountancy and advisory firm, is looking for a Senior Technical Audit Consultant.  You will lead a team working on a variety of assurance engagements, including Data Management, Risk Assurance, Data Protection, and work on audits for a wide ranging client base across the Midlands..  In addition to the technical aspects, this role offers the opportunity to gain business development experience, working with the team preparing client tenders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of advisers in the effective delivery of IT Assurance Services, and act as a coach and mentor as necessary.
  • Manage the timely delivery of client assignments and ensure the effective use of staff and resources, to deliver projects within budget.
  • Manage a client portfolio.
  • The client base ranges from large commercial entities and public sector bodies, and will be slanted according to your specialisms.
  • Build relationships with clients with a view to contributing to Business Development, and identifying new work streams.

Requirements:

  • Professional IT Qualification, eg CISA, CISSP, CISM or similar.
  • Relevant applications or infrastructure audit experience both considered.
  • Relevant IT Audit Experience
  • Internal Audit or Consultancy experience

Our client is looking for four experienced senior auditors to join their Internal Audit Outsourcing team working predominantly on Private Wealth and other Financial Services clients.  Based in London, you will be educated to degree level and hold a relevant professional qualification.  As part of their dedicated audit team, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, team members, stake holders and senior management.  A willingness to conduct some travel and a current understanding of private wealth audit is essential.

Our client is seeking a Credit Risk Audit VP with a thorough understanding of credit analysis across a broad spectrum of borrowers including SME, property and large corporations.  Reporting directly to the Head of section, the ideal candidate will be degree educated and hold a relevant professional qualification and will have a proven track record of credit skills gained in the financial services sector.    The role requires a thorough understanding of Basel II in addition to detailed knowledge of OCC and FED guidelines impacting on loan classification and the shared national credit process.

Due to the technical nature of the subject matter our client is open to Auditors with Credit Risk exposure or Credit Risk practitioners.

With a keen eye for detail, the successful candidate will use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to leverage the broader audit function through their relationships with senior management and by developing and mentoring junior team members.

Our client, a tier 1 investment bank, is seeking for an auditor to join their Internal Audit team.  With experience in asset/investment management and exposure to capital markets, preferably gained in an investment bank or big four organisation, the ideal candidate will be seeking an opportunity to further develop their technical knowledge to expert level.

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • A strong understanding of financial products, preferably asset/investment management, you will ideally have a thorough understanding of laws and regulations governing these.  Expertise in Sarbanes-Oxley would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the audit plan and development of the audit team while maintaining an overall view of the function and its efficacy. With excellent communication skills and ability to develop, maintain excellent relations with stakeholders, senior management and the audit team, the VP Operational Risk Auditor will be committed to raising standards within their own team and the organisation as a whole. Essential:

  • Educated to degree level in addition to holding a Postgraduate degree in relevant subject or holding a professional qualification (ACA,FRM)
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills the successful candidate will have the ability to influence and advise team members, stakeholders, senior management.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements of operational risk management including Basel, BIPRU 6, FSA and Sarbanes Oxley. Current knowledge of CEBS 216 would be an advantage.
  • Using an indepth understanding of the impact of Basel II on operational risk to inform audit practice and strategy.
  • Demonstrable experience in an operational risk management gained in a large bank or FS organisation Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, controls and governance frameworks affecting operational risk

Our client, a leading European investment bank with a global presence is seeking an auditor or audit manager for their banking and investments business to cover compliance, legal,  finance, leasing and HR audits.  This role would suit someone with an exclusive background in either:

1) Financial Services audit

2) A big four group in risk advisory or statutory audit working on banking or investment clients with an operational knowledge of Financial Services compliance and regulations. The successful candidate will undertake reviews across the corporate, wholesale, investment banking, trade finance and asset / wealth management functions.   You must have excellent communication and team working skills.

Travel within the UK will be c20%.

Our client is seeking a Banking and Capital Markets Manager with a strong background in front office products with particular focus on equities for an Internal Audit position.

While an audit or accountancy qualification is desirable, our client is particularly interested in  candidates with an excellent understanding of traded products, trade flows and related controls gained in front/middle office (trading, risk management, product control, etc.) roles in a large bank

This role would suit someone with experience and a thorough understanding of private wealth, preferably gained in either a tier 1 or boutique private wealth bank.  Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in internal audit, ideally with some experience of private wealth audit.  With excellent communication skills and experience leading and developing teams, the successful candidate will have a good understanding of products, processes and current regulatory practice.

Our client, a leading global investment bank seeks an associate market risk auditor. As part of a market risk team reporting to the Global Head of Risk Audit, the successful candidate will be part of a specialist team tasked with the global market risk audit. This role would suit someone currently in practice/with a Big 4 firm who is looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in market risk as a foundation for future career development.

  • Experience:
  • Extensive knowledge of market risk, ideally gained through an advisory/practitioner experience in financial services.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements of market risk management, Basel II & III developments, an overview of global regulatory requirements and developments would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills the successful candidate will have the ability to influence stakeholders, senior management and regulator in addition to strong team working skills.

Qualifications:

  • A postgraduate degree in quantitative finance or related discipline (2:1 minimum)
